To keep hanging the Noren, is a time-honored value for merchants.
Shina’s Noren has a different taste compared to the Kondaya, with the artisan’s Kinkoma embroidery technique (a traditional kimono embroidery technique), its brand mark and logo is embroidered onto a white thick cotton fabric, hoping for its long-lasting prosperity.

SHINA’s thoughts for Noren
Shina’s Noren is made by a well-known embroidery artisan of Kondaya, one of the well-established Kimono makers in Kyoto with 269 years of history.
The silver thread is finely and beautifully embroidered with the finest Kinkoma technique.
Also, Kinkoma embroidery technique is usually known as the embroidery technique for kimono.
By using the thickest fabric among all the cotton fabrics, Shina’s Noren was made-up into a Noren with the right tension and durability that could be used for centuries.
